“The Escape” is a macro shot of a dandelion. One ball of fluff is the main focal point in the picture, the thin shafts of each seed protruding from a white ball and erupting into shimmery silver puffy filiments. At prominent points near the stem, the seedlings have burst out of the main nest of their brethren, but still hang on. Maybe they are not ready to let go and fly into the wind. Other flowers of pink and patches of green fade into the background. Sunlight dapples on the dandelion playfully on this beautiful spring day.
