About our prints

We currently use Epson professional grade UltraChrome K3 pigment ink and Epson professional papers for most of our prints. With the long archive and display life of these prints, you will have art to enjoy for generations without worry of color change or fading. Some prints are available on fiber archive paper, bamboo paper, along with other specialty papers and will be marked with paper information. If you would like a print on specialty paper please use the “contact us” form for more information. Please keep in mind that specialty papers have not been rated for lightfast life. Also there will be an increase in price, in most cases the price will be doubled or tripled. Specialty archive paper will increase the archive life of prints but may shorten the display life of prints. Epson's UltraChrome K3 Ink Technology is considered the next level in Pigment Ink, which features a unique ultra-chrome pearlescent finish. We think you will agree that this pigment based ink is truly spectacular. UltraChrome offers high density pigments for an extremely wide color gamut for truly quality prints. It also includes reduced gloss differential, superior scratch resistance, and amazing stability. The standard archival value is up to 108 years* in home display for color prints and 200 years for black and white prints, as well as 300 years in dark storage. From fine art applications to special event photography, you will be satisfied and won't need to worry about prints fading. *Prints displayed under uv protective glass in normal room conditions. Direct sunlight on the print will shorten the life span of the print.
